JEFFERSON COUNTY, Ark. – A Redfield woman is facing drug-related charges following a late-night traffic stop in Jefferson County.

Deidra Davidson, 36, was released on a $2,500 bond Monday after Jefferson County District Judge Kim Bridgforth ruled that prosecutors had probable cause to charge her with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

According to Deputy Prosecutor Ty Spradlin, Davidson was a passenger in a Hyundai that was pulled over by White Hall Police near Exit 34 on I-530 around 12:55 a.m. The stop was initiated because the vehicle lacked a license plate.

Spradlin said Davidson was under the influence of intoxicants at the time and was not interviewed by police. He also noted that Davidson has no prior convictions or pending charges.

She is scheduled to return to court on June 16.
