PRICEVILLE, Ala. (WAFF) – A Decatur woman has been arrested after allegedly making unauthorized purchases totaling approximately $10,000 using a company credit card, according to the Priceville Police Department.

The incident began on July 30, when a local business reported a theft involving an employee. An internal investigation revealed that the employee had used the company’s credit card for personal expenses without permission.

After reviewing the evidence, authorities issued a felony warrant for first-degree theft of property against 44-year-old Dayna Ferrell King of Decatur.

On Saturday, Priceville investigators arrested King and transported her to the Morgan County Jail, where she is being held on a $10,000 bond.

No further details about the purchases or the company involved have been released. The investigation is ongoing.
