Davis Porter Jr. Arrested for Attempted Homicide in PA

Suspect accused of shooting at woman in Lancaster city

LANCASTER, Pa. — Lancaster police have arrested 29-year-old Davis Porter Jr. in connection with an attempted homicide that occurred on the first block of Caroline Street.

According to authorities, the female victim reported that she was seated inside her vehicle when Porter, an acquaintance, approached and fired multiple gunshots at her. The vehicle was struck twice, but the woman was not injured.

Following the shooting, Porter fled the scene on foot. Law enforcement later located and apprehended him in Prince William County, Maryland.

Porter now faces multiple charges, including:

Attempted homicide

Aggravated assault

Recklessly endangering another person

The investigation remains ongoing.
