David Tallman Arrested for Stealing $60K Wheel Loader in Henrietta

46-Year-Old Charged with Grand Larceny and False Personation

Rochester, N.Y. — An arrest has been made in connection to the theft of a $60,000 Case 721c wheel loader from Jefferson Road in Henrietta. The theft occurred on December 1, and deputies from the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office recovered the stolen loader in the Town of Groveland on December 3.

After reviewing surveillance footage and gathering evidence, the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office identified 46-year-old David Tallman as the suspect. Deputies located Tallman on Jefferson Road early Wednesday morning at around 7 a.m. When approached, Tallman allegedly provided officers with a false name.

Tallman was arrested and charged with second-degree grand larceny and false personation. He was arraigned in Henrietta Town Court and released to pretrial supervision. The investigation is ongoing.
