LEE COUNTY, Iowa (KWQC) — A Keokuk man is facing serious drug charges after being arrested by law enforcement following a traffic stop.
David Alan Londrie, 62, was arrested on an outstanding warrant and is now charged with possession of more than 5 grams of methamphetamine with intent to deliver, a Class B felony under Iowa law.
The arrest occurred during a traffic stop conducted by the Keokuk Police Department. While the stop itself did not lead directly to the drug charges, Londrie was taken into custody on the outstanding warrant and later charged by the Lee County Narcotics Task Force.
Authorities confirm that Londrie’s arrest was part of a broader narcotics investigation and not directly related to the traffic stop itself. The Keokuk Police Department assisted in the arrest and ongoing investigation.
Londrie remains in custody as legal proceedings move forward.
