WARREN, Ohio — A multi-agency police operation led to the arrest of Darius Priest, 33, during a morning raid at a home on Tod Avenue NW in Warren. Priest was already facing 14 sealed drug-related charges and a domestic violence accusation before his latest arrest.
The Warren Police Department’s Street Crimes Unit, in coordination with the Warren Tactical Entry Team and the Trumbull Action Group, executed a search warrant at 7:13 a.m. on June 11. Inside the residence, officers seized approximately 3.8 ounces of suspected crack cocaine, cocaine, heroin, and fentanyl, as well as drug paraphernalia and a 9mm handgun, police said.
Priest was taken into custody and transported to the Trumbull County Jail. Authorities confirmed he was also arrested on 14 existing charges, which include drug trafficking and possession of cocaine, heroin, and fentanyl compounds. The charges were previously filed in secret by the Trumbull County Common Pleas Court.
The Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation is currently analyzing the seized substances. Additional charges may be filed based on lab results.
Law enforcement officials emphasized that Priest’s arrest was part of an ongoing effort to disrupt drug trafficking operations in the region.
