CINCINNATI, Ohio — A 31-year-old man is facing murder charges in connection with the tragic shooting death of a 12-year-old boy over the weekend.
Cincinnati police say Darius McGrew has been arrested and charged with murder in the death of Nehemiah McMillon, who was fatally shot late Sunday night, according to WCPO.
Officers responded around 11 p.m. to reports of a stolen vehicle that had crashed in the 4800 block of Este Avenue. When they arrived, they found McMillon suffering from a gunshot wound.
He was transported to a nearby hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
Police at the scene also confirmed a second individual showed up at the hospital with a gunshot wound, believed to be connected to the same incident.
Authorities have not yet released further details on the circumstances of the shooting or the motive. The investigation remains ongoing.
