On Wednesday, May 21, 2025, the District Anti-Narcotics Special Action Force (DANSAF) arrested two men from Kozhikode, C.V. Navas (28) and T. Imthias (30), in possession of 298 grams of suspected MDMA. The arrest was made with assistance from a patrol squad of the Feroke police station.
Police sources indicated that the accused targeted school and college students in the Feroke and Ramanattukara regions. Initial investigations revealed that the synthetic drugs were smuggled from Bengaluru, transported in a car registered in Maharashtra.
The case remains under active investigation as authorities probe further into the drug distribution network.
