BEAR, Del. — Delaware State Police arrested 48-year-old Danielle Marshall from Tampa, Florida, in connection with an identity theft investigation at a Citizens Bank branch in Bear.

On November 28, 2025, at approximately 11:00 a.m., troopers responded to the bank at 146 Fox Hunt Drive after staff reported a fraud in progress. According to authorities, Marshall attempted to use a fake New Jersey driver’s license and a bank card belonging to another account holder to change the account holder’s information. The license bore her photo but contained the victim’s personal details.

Bank staff noted that Marshall had attempted the same scheme at another Citizens Bank earlier in the day but was unsuccessful. Using a description provided by the employees, troopers located and arrested Marshall as she was leaving the area.

She was taken to Troop 2, charged with Identity Theft (Felony), and arraigned in Justice of the Peace Court 11. Marshall was committed to the Baylor Women’s Correctional Institution on a $10,000 secured bond.
