PHILADELPHIA – Authorities have arrested Danielle Baxter, 38, and charged her with murder following the fatal shooting of her husband, Jordan Baxter, in Roxborough on Wednesday, March 19.
Discovery of the Crime Scene
At approximately 6:58 a.m., Philadelphia police responded to reports of a person screaming. Upon arrival, officers discovered an unresponsive man lying on a plastic sheet between two parked cars.
The victim, identified as 38-year-old Jordan Baxter, was found with a firearm resting on his chest. Emergency medical personnel arrived shortly after and pronounced him dead at the scene at 7:07 a.m.
Arrest & Charges
Following an overnight investigation, authorities arrested Jordan’s wife, Danielle Baxter, on Thursday, March 20. She has been charged with murder and related offenses.
