Daniel Fawcett Arrested in 2022 Grand Junction Shooting Case

Arrest Follows Investigation into Attempted Murder, Conspiracy

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) – A Grand Junction man has been arrested in connection with a shooting that occurred nearly three years ago. The shooting incident took place on March 13, 2022, when shots were fired into a home on the 2700 block of B ½ Road. Fortunately, no injuries were reported from the incident.

Following an extensive investigation, an arrest warrant was issued for 22-year-old Daniel Fawcett. On January 30, 2025, officers received information that Fawcett was residing on South Avenue and quickly apprehended him without incident.

Fawcett has been booked into the Mesa County Detention Facility, facing serious charges, including:

Attempted Murder in the 1st Degree
Conspiracy to Commit Murder in the 1st Degree
Illegal Discharge of a Firearm
The case has been handed over to the 21st Judicial District Attorney’s Office, and the investigation is still ongoing. No further details have been released at this time.
