Tributes have been paid to a teenage girl who died at Loughton Underground Station in Essex earlier this month.

Daisy House passed away on December 15 after emergency services were called to reports of a casualty on the tracks. British Transport Police confirmed that the incident is not being treated as suspicious.

In a statement, Daisy’s family described her as a bright and caring young person who had recently begun sixth form and had her whole future ahead of her.

“On Monday, our beautiful daughter Daisy lost her life,” the family said. “She was a bright, beautiful, clever and funny girl who had just started sixth form and had her whole future ahead of her.”

They also expressed their gratitude to the emergency responders and medical staff who attended the scene and supported the family during the incident.

“We would like to thank all of the emergency services and doctors who worked so hard to save her, especially the British Transport Police officer and the paediatric nurses who treated us all with such kindness,” the statement added.

British Transport Police said enquiries have been completed and there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding Daisy’s death.
