Police in Dahisar (E) have arrested an accused in connection with the attempted murder of a security guard that occurred three months ago.
The arrested individual, Vicky N, along with seven to eight associates, allegedly slashed the victim, Aarif Shaikh, with a knife during the attack.
According to officials, this arrest brings the total number of detainees in the case to three, and authorities indicated that more arrests are likely as investigations continue.
Police are further probing the involvement of other suspects to determine their roles in the attack and the motive behind the crime.
