WASHINGTON (7News) — Two D.C. residents have pleaded guilty in U.S. District Court for their roles in a violent armed carjacking that took place in Southeast Washington, U.S. Attorney Jeanine Pirro announced.
Brian Allison, 56, and Angel Hall, 25, admitted to charges of carjacking and aiding and abetting stemming from a disturbing February 1, 2024, incident.
According to court documents, the duo followed a woman into a restaurant on the 4500 block of Benny Road SE around 11 p.m., then waited for her to leave with her food. Once outside, Allison threatened the victim, pressing the butt of a pistol in his pocket and demanding:
“Gimme those f—ing keys or I’m gonna bust your head.”
The woman complied, handing over her keys, phone, and wallet. Allison further threatened her life if she gave the wrong PIN for her debit card.
After a failed attempt to lock the woman in the trunk, the suspects forced her into the front passenger seat. Hall sat in the back while Allison drove to a grocery store on the 4900 block of Marlboro Pike in Capitol Heights, Maryland.
Allison warned Hall to “bust” the victim if she tried to escape. He withdrew $500 from an ATM and bought food before returning to D.C.
They later abandoned the car on the 5700 block of Southern Avenue SE, wiping down fingerprints with the victim’s glove and returning some belongings before fleeing on foot.
The woman immediately drove to a police station to report the incident.
Sentencing for Allison and Hall is set for January 12, 2026.
