WEST CHESTER, Iowa — A West Chester woman, Cynthia Wooldridge, 48, is facing multiple felony drug charges following her recent arrest by Johnson County officials on a warrant out of Washington County.

Wooldridge has been charged with:

Two counts of controlled substance violation (Class C felonies)

Two counts of possession of a controlled substance (Class D felonies)

According to court documents, the charges stem from a March 3, 2025, incident in which a Washington County deputy seized methamphetamine and marijuana. The drugs were confirmed by the DCI lab after chemical testing.

Authorities also obtained a search warrant for Wooldridge’s phone, which allegedly contained numerous drug-related conversations. Investigators say the messages indicate she was involved in buying, selling, trading, and facilitating transactions involving illegal substances.

Wooldridge is currently being held at the Washington County Jail on a $45,000 bond. A trial date has not yet been scheduled.
