Curtis Harrell Arrested in Sullivan County Drug Bust

56-year-old faces multiple charges after two-year investigation

HUMPHREYS, Mo. — The Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office and the North Missouri Drug Task Force concluded a two-year investigation with a major drug bust and the arrest of Curtis Harrell, 56, of Humphreys.

Authorities executed a search warrant at Harrell’s residence on South Stringer Street, leading to his arrest for trafficking in narcotics and being a convicted felon in possession of firearms. A total of 13 firearms were seized from the property.

During the search, investigators confiscated a significant quantity of narcotics, including methamphetamine, ecstasy, cocaine, and psilocybin mushrooms. The Milan Police Department, Missouri State Highway Patrol, Brookfield Police Department, and the Sullivan County Ambulance District assisted in executing the search warrant.

Harrell now faces serious charges, and authorities continue to investigate the case.
