SAINT JOHN, N.B. — Curtis Furlotte, 34, wanted on a Canada-wide warrant, was arrested in Saint John on July 17 after failing to report to the Community Correctional Centre, violating his statutory release.
Police located Furlotte and arrested him following a brief foot chase. Upon his arrest, authorities discovered the following items in his possession:
26 fentanyl patches
Two shotgun shells
A firearm component
2.9 grams of fentanyl
1.62 grams of cocaine
63.47 grams of crystal meth
Digital scales
Furlotte has been charged with several offenses, including unlawfully being at large, possession of fentanyl and methamphetamine for trafficking, possession of cocaine, and possession of ammunition contrary to probation order. His parole has been suspended, and he remains in custody.
