SARATOGA COUNTY, NY — A Schenectady woman has been arrested and charged with third-degree burglary, a class D felony, after allegedly entering a Wilton Walmart where she had previously been banned.
Crystal L. Thompson, 48, was taken into custody Tuesday on an arrest warrant issued by Wilton Town Court. According to the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office, Thompson knowingly entered and unlawfully remained inside the Walmart on January 30 with the intent to commit a crime.
Authorities confirmed that Thompson had previously been notified she was prohibited from entering the store, making her presence a criminal offense.
She was arraigned before Judge Chad Jerome and subsequently remanded to Saratoga County Jail pending further court proceedings.
