Craig Desmond Taylor Arrested in Beaufort County on Multiple Drug Trafficking Charges

Beaufort County deputies seize meth, fentanyl, cocaine, marijuana in drug bust

BEAUFORT COUNTY, N.C. — On Wednesday, June 4, the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office Drug Unit executed a search warrant at a residence in southeast Beaufort County that resulted in the arrest of Craig Desmond Taylor, 57, on multiple drug-related charges.

During the search, investigators seized:

21 grams of methamphetamine

15 grams of cocaine

21 grams of marijuana

6 grams of fentanyl

$1,502 in U.S. currency

Taylor was arrested and is currently being held at the Beaufort County Detention Center with a $325,000 secured bond.

He faces the following charges:

Two counts of trafficking in fentanyl

One count of possession with intent to sell or deliver (PWISD) Schedule II (Fentanyl)

One count of PWISD cocaine

One count of PWISD methamphetamine

One count of felony maintain a dwelling to keep/sell controlled substances

One count of possession of marijuana (between ½ to 1 ½ ounce)

Two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia

Authorities continue to investigate the case.
