Devon Darling, 19, and Taliyah Blake, 19, were arrested in Alachua on fraud charges after investigators traced the stolen funds to their CashApp profiles. The couple faces charges of burglary, fraud, theft of less than $5,000, and illegal use of a credit card.

The arrests stemmed from a burglary on the morning of March 26, during which a Gucci purse and two Gucci wallets, containing credit and debit cards as well as social security cards, were stolen from a home in Alachua. The victim reported the stolen items valued at $4,200.

Bank statements linked to the stolen cards showed multiple attempts to send funds to two different CashApp accounts, one belonging to Darling and the other to Blake. Surveillance footage from a Circle K store further revealed the suspects passing stolen credit cards back and forth, attempting to use them at the ATM and the register.

Both suspects are being held at Alachua County Jail with bonds set at $30,500 each. The investigation is ongoing.
