Jefferson County, CO — A man suspected of trafficking women across the Denver metro area has been arrested following a months-long undercover investigation by the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office.
Cortez D’Angelo Dennis, 30 (DOB: 11/6/1993), was taken into custody on September 10 and booked into the Arapahoe County Jail. He is being held on a $500,000 cash-only bond. Dennis faces charges of Human Trafficking for Sexual Servitude and Pimping.
His arrest stems from “Rodeo Rescue,” an undercover operation conducted in January during the National Western Stock Show. Investigators targeted commercial sex advertisements to identify and recover potential human trafficking victims. As a result of the operation, two adult victims were recovered and connected with support services.
Following the sting, detectives launched a detailed investigation that led them to Dennis. Authorities believe he was trafficking women from multiple locations around the Denver metro area.
Officials say additional victims may exist and are urging anyone with information to come forward.
