Corpus Christi Man Arrested After Business Robbery

Paul Loera faces charges following robbery at Greenwood Drive business

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Corpus Christi police arrested 47-year-old Paul Loera following a robbery at a business located on the 5000 block of Greenwood Drive on Tuesday night.

Authorities reported that Loera grabbed cash from behind the counter and struck an employee when confronted. Officers were dispatched at 10:42 p.m. and were given a description of the suspect.

Loera was located and detained near West Point Road and Columbia Street shortly afterward. He was positively identified and transported to the city detention center for booking.

Police confirmed there were no major injuries, and the stolen cash was recovered.
