Corning Parolee Joel Guillen Arrested on Felony Warrant
Guillen faces battery and parole violation charges
CORNING, Calif. — On Saturday, August 8, 2025, Corning Police Department arrested 37-year-old parolee Joel J. Guillen, who had been at large on a felony warrant.
Officers responded to a tip regarding Guillen’s whereabouts and found him behind a residence on the 1200 block of Link Street. He was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Tehama County Jail.
Guillen is charged with misdemeanor battery causing serious bodily injury and a felony parole violation. Although the police initially reported no bail, online records now show a bail amount set at $25,000.
The Corning Police Department continues to monitor the case.
