PADUCAH, Ky. (KBSI) — A Paducah man was arrested Tuesday after a drug raid uncovered large quantities of synthetic marijuana, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia, according to the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office.
On September 23, deputies executed a search warrant at a home on North 26th Street as part of an ongoing narcotics investigation. Inside, they found Corey A. Thomas, 41, and seized:
Approximately 2 pounds of synthetic marijuana
Marijuana
Various drug paraphernalia
About $7,130 in cash, believed to be proceeds from drug sales
Authorities say Thomas has multiple prior convictions for drug trafficking.
He was charged with:
Second-offense trafficking in synthetic drugs
Possession of marijuana
Possession of drug paraphernalia
Thomas was booked into the McCracken County Regional Jail, and the investigation remains ongoing.
