The local contractor and owner of J’S and Sons Construction was charged with grand larceny, a felony, after he reportedly falsified documents to inflate prices and take insurance money from a local resident.
The arrest follows a complaint filed with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, leading to a thorough investigation. Belrose was arraigned in the Town of Palatine Court and remanded to the Montgomery County Jail, with bail set at $2,500 cash or a $10,000 bail bond.
