Columbus Teacher Ryan Bogan Arrested for Drugs

Meth, marijuana found during traffic stop

COLUMBUS, Miss. — A Columbus school teacher was arrested Monday following a traffic stop in Lowndes County.

Sheriff’s deputies pulled over 33-year-old Ryan Bogan for a traffic violation. During the stop, authorities discovered methamphetamine, marijuana, and other drugs inside his vehicle, according to the Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office.

Bogan faces charges of drug possession. He is employed by the Columbus Municipal School District, which plans to issue a statement on the incident on Tuesday.
