COLUMBIA, Mo. — A Boone County grand jury has indicted Seweryn Rapacinski, 62, on multiple charges related to the burglary of two Columbia homes.

Rapacinski faces two counts of second-degree burglary, two counts of stealing over $750, and one count of stealing over $25,000.

Court documents allege that Rapacinski broke into homes on Torrey Pines Road—one in July 2025 and another in September 2025—and stole more than $100,000 in jewelry and $5,000 in cash from one residence, along with a $12,000 silver dining set from the second.

Rapacinski, who is not a U.S. citizen and had overstayed his visa, is currently being held without bond at Boone County Jail. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for December 9, 2025.

Authorities are continuing their investigation.
