Colton Reindahl Arrested for Burglary and Theft of Over $10,000 in Wisconsin
MONONA, Wis. — A 33-year-old man was arrested nearly a week after breaking into a Monona store and stealing more than $10,000 worth of property, according to the Monona Police Department.
Officers responded on September 2 after a store manager reported a shed had been broken into over the weekend. Officials identified the suspect as Colton Reindahl of Marshall. A week later, a Dane County Deputy stopped Reindahl, who had an outstanding arrest warrant.
Reindahl admitted to taking the stolen property to a scrapyard to evaluate its metal value. He faces charges including burglary, theft of movable property, and outstanding probation or parole warrants.
Reindahl has a lengthy criminal history, including convictions for identity theft, drug offenses, and other theft-related crimes in Dane County.
Additionally, 36-year-old Andrew Sugden was referred for charges related to burglary and theft in connection with the case.
