OAKDALE AND OBERLIN, La. (KPLC) – Four individuals, including two juveniles, are facing serious charges following two vehicle theft cases under investigation in Allen Parish.
On September 16, the Allen Parish Sheriff’s Office (APSO) and the Oberlin Police Department launched an investigation after a vehicle was reported stolen from a home in Oberlin. A gun and additional items were also reported stolen from another nearby vehicle.
On the same day, Oakdale Police Department began a separate vehicle theft investigation. Surveillance footage later revealed that both stolen vehicles were seen traveling together through the Oberlin area around 3 a.m., according to APSO.
At approximately 6 p.m., officers with the Forest Hill Police Department intercepted one of the stolen vehicles on U.S. 165 and initiated a pursuit. The chase ended with the detention of four suspects: Colton Hebert, Logan Rodriguez, and two unnamed juveniles.
All four suspects were arrested and charged with the following:
Theft of a motor vehicle
Theft of a firearm
Simple burglary
Additionally, Hebert and Rodriguez face extra charges of contributing to the delinquency of juveniles.

Colton Hebert: $80,000
Logan Rodriguez: $81,000
Court hearings for the juveniles are still pending.
Authorities confirmed that both stolen vehicles and the firearm have been successfully recovered.
