Authorities in Fountain, Colorado, have arrested Stephen Hutto, 45, a pastor at Highland Baptist Church in Boone, on child sex assault charges.
Prior to his current role, Hutto served as a youth pastor at Fountain Independent Baptist Church. On March 2, the Fountain Police Department announced his arrest following an investigation into allegations of sexual assault on a child by a person in a position of trust.
Authorities have not disclosed how the allegations surfaced but believe there may be additional victims.
The Fountain Police Department urges anyone with information or who may have been victimized to come forward as the investigation remains ongoing.
