Coimbatore police on Monday arrested three Jharkhand natives in connection with the murder of a migrant worker, R. Narayan (33), near Kaniyur on Saturday night.
The accused, B. Chhota Lal, his brother B. Dinesh, and a juvenile, were residing in Ponnandampalayam near Kaniyur at the time of the crime. Police confirmed that all three have been taken into custody for further investigation.
The motive for the attack is currently under investigation, and authorities are examining the circumstances leading to the fatal incident.
