JACKSON, Miss. – The Jackson Police Department has arrested a man in connection to a copper theft and property damage incident that occurred on McDowell Road.

Clinton Pierre Jr., 43, was taken into custody on May 2 and charged with malicious mischief (felony) and possession of burglary tools (felony).

According to investigators, Pierre entered a business in the 1000 block of McDowell Road and damaged an outdoor air conditioning unit, cutting and removing copper pipes. Authorities stated that Pierre is known to police for his involvement in similar offenses dating back to 2024.
