Clayton P. Miles Indicted for Rape, Drug Charges in Tennessee

Van Buren Sheriff seeks info, potential assault victims

VAN BUREN COUNTY, Tenn. (WSMV) – The Van Buren County Sheriff’s Department (VBCSD) is seeking the public’s help in an ongoing rape and drug investigation involving Clayton P. Miles.

Miles was indicted on multiple serious charges, including:

Aggravated statutory rape

Rape

Manufacturing, selling, delivering, or possessing Schedule IV drugs

The indictment follows a detailed investigation into allegations of sexual assault and drug activity.

Miles was arrested Monday and booked into the Van Buren County Jail. His bond has been set at $75,000.

Authorities believe there may be additional victims and are urging anyone with information about the case—or who may have been assaulted by Miles—to contact the Van Buren County Sheriff’s Department.
