Clay Pflug Arrested for Shotgun Theft in Oakland City

Man faces burglary and firearm charges

Gibson County authorities have arrested a 30-year-old man in connection with the theft of a shotgun from a residence in Oakland City, Indiana.

According to officials, deputies received a report of a stolen shotgun taken from a home near Somerville. Following a brief investigation, Clay Pflug, 30, was identified as the suspect and later located in Oakland City.

Authorities confirmed that the stolen shotgun was recovered shortly after the report was made.

Pflug has been charged with burglary while armed with a deadly weapon, residential entry, and theft of a firearm. He was taken into custody without incident.

Officials did not release additional details, and the investigation remains ongoing.
