NEW ORLEANS — The New Orleans Police Department has arrested one suspect and is searching for another in connection to a simple robbery that occurred on April 20, 2025.
Chyine Alexis, a 43-year-old Black female, was taken into custody for her alleged involvement in the robbery at the intersection of Burgundy and Iberville Streets. She is also facing charges related to a felony theft that took place on April 26, 2025, at Saint Charles Avenue and Gravier Street.
The second suspect, who has not yet been identified, was also involved in the April 20 robbery and is still at large. Investigators say both suspects were seen using a grey 2024 Nissan Sentra with a Louisiana license plate.

All individuals are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
