BOSSIER CITY, La. — The Bossier Parish Sheriff’s Office (BPSO) arrested Christopher Lee Thomas in connection with a burglary at the St. Jude Dream Home construction site. The arrest brought closure to the case and led to the recovery of nearly all stolen building materials, which have been returned to their rightful owner.

Detectives identified Thomas as the suspect responsible for stealing materials from the charitable project. During the investigation, officers also found Thomas unlawfully occupying a residence that did not belong to him.

Thomas was taken into custody without incident and booked into the Bossier Parish Maximum Security Facility. He faces charges including simple burglary, unauthorized entry, and felony property damage.

Sheriff Whittington praised the work of deputies, emphasizing the importance of protecting charitable efforts like the St. Jude Dream Home. “I am very proud of the thorough work of our investigators, and glad we were able to get these materials back where they belong,” he said.
