WEST POINT, Miss. – Three people have been arrested in connection with the theft of $46,000 worth of copper from a Tennessee Valley Authority facility in Clay County, according to the Clay County Sheriff’s Office.
The suspects were identified as Christopher Hendon, 27; Michael McFalls, 23; and Madison Ray, 26. Investigators said the thefts occurred in September and October and caused more than $1,000 in property damage.
Hendon and McFalls are facing grand larceny and malicious mischief charges, while Ray has been charged with conspiracy to commit a felony. In addition, Hendon and McFalls also face unrelated burglary charges.
Authorities said the trio could also face federal charges as the investigation continues.
