A Boca Raton man was arrested Tuesday evening on suspicion of grand theft and dealing in stolen property, according to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office.

The suspect, identified as Christopher Yojan Diaz, was taken into custody under Report No. 565063. The report, filed by PBSO on January 27, 2026, at 8:39 p.m., lists Diaz as being charged with grand theft exceeding $100,000 or causing damage to law enforcement property, as well as dealing in or trafficking stolen property.

Authorities did not release details about the type of property involved or the circumstances surrounding the alleged offenses. Diaz’s date of birth was also not disclosed.

The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office emphasized that an arrest represents an allegation and does not imply guilt. All charges will be adjudicated in court, where the accused is presumed innocent unless proven guilty.

The Boca Raton Tribune will continue monitoring official records and provide updates if additional information becomes available.
