Christopher Caquelin Sentenced for Meth Distribution in Iowa

Fort Dodge man gets 10 years for selling meth locally

A Fort Dodge man has been sentenced to ten years in federal prison for distributing methamphetamine. According to federal authorities, 41-year-old Christopher Caquelin pleaded guilty in March to conspiracy to distribute a controlled substance and distribution of a controlled substance.

Police say Caquelin admitted to being part of a drug conspiracy operating in Fort Dodge from January 2023 through October 2024. As part of that operation, he intended to distribute more than 50 grams of pure methamphetamine.

Court documents confirm that Caquelin sold meth to individuals in the Fort Dodge area during that time. In addition to his ten-year prison sentence, he will serve five years of supervised release following his incarceration.
