GOSHEN TOWNSHIP, Ohio — A former nursing home office manager has been charged with stealing more than $300,000 from residents over several years.
Christina Williams, 51, of Colerain, was identified by police as the suspect behind the thefts at Venetian Gardens Nursing Home, according to Goshen Township Police Chief Bob Rose. Authorities say more than 50 residents were affected.
Police received the initial report in May 2025, which indicated that a former employee may have been siphoning funds from residents’ accounts. The case was assigned to the department’s Criminal Investigations Unit.
After nearly a year-long investigation, led by Detective Sgt. Chris McMillan and his team, Williams was identified as the alleged perpetrator. Investigators believe she had been taking money from residents for years.
A Clermont County grand jury recently indicted Williams on 56 felony counts of theft. Chief Rose credited McMillan’s meticulous work in analyzing hundreds of hours of financial records and preparing dozens of individual cases spanning several years.
Williams was booked into the Clermont County Jail, with bond set at $30,000. Police stated that other staff at Venetian Gardens have fully cooperated with the ongoing investigation.
