Victims Allege Police Inaction Due to Intelligence Ties

A Chinhoyi mine owner, Oscar Kurasha, is facing serious allegations of physically abusing workers, with reports suggesting that law enforcement is ignoring complaints due to his alleged ties to the country’s intelligence services.

Kurasha, the owner of Vynwk 5 mine, has allegedly beaten employees with his hands and weapons, according to several sources. Workers claim that he believes he is “untouchable” because of his connections within the intelligence department.
