A 30-year-old Chinese national, identified as Benlai Pan, has been arrested for allegedly being involved in a global in-flight theft syndicate. Pan was detained at Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport upon arrival on May 14, after multiple passengers aboard Air India flight AI-315, traveling from Hong Kong to New Delhi, lodged complaints about their stolen debit and credit cards.
Pan is suspected to have targeted fellow passengers during the flight, making him a part of an organized international network involved in similar thefts on flights worldwide. Authorities have confirmed that the case is under investigation, and the arrested individual will face charges related to theft and possible connections to further crimes of the same nature.
