Chennais Hrish Targeted Four Held for Gold Theft

Korukkupet police in Chennai have arrested four individuals involved in the theft of gold from a jewellery-making unit in Old Washermenpet.

According to police reports, Hrish (35), a resident of Poonamallee High Road, operates a gold jewellery workshop on Muthiah Mudali Street. On November 7, 2025, he entrusted gold bars and ornaments to his employee, Karthik Bera, instructing him to melt the material and craft new jewellery designs.
