A Rochester man, Chaz Keon Davis, 42, was arrested this week following an investigation into a six-figure vehicle theft in Farmington.
On August 20, deputies apprehended Davis at a home on Forgham Circle in Rochester. Authorities say Davis, along with two others, used false pretenses to acquire two vehicles valued at over $100,000 from a Farmington business on August 11.
During the arrest, Davis allegedly fled while being informed of his rights and caused injury to a deputy. The injured deputy was treated at FF Thompson Hospital and has since returned to duty.
Two other suspects, Iselynn and Patrick Johnson, were arrested on the same day as the initial incident.
Davis was arraigned at CAP Court and is currently being held at the Ontario County Jail. He is scheduled to appear in Farmington Town Court at a later date.
