Charlie Arnold Charged in VFW Theft, Credit Fraud Case

Prescott man accused of misusing over $9,600 in funds

PRESCOTT, Ariz. — On Wednesday, June 4, 2025, Charlie Arnold, 40, of Prescott, was arrested and booked into the Yavapai County Jail on charges of felony theft and fraudulent use of a credit card.

Following a months-long investigation, authorities discovered that between July 1, 2024, and February 2025, Arnold allegedly wrote and issued checks from the Prescott Chapter of the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) account and used their debit card to cover personal and business expenses totaling $9,643.

The case is now being reviewed by the Coconino County Attorney’s Office for potential additional charges, including fraudulent schemes.
