Charles Young Arrested in Huntsville Meth, Stolen Car Case

Deputies seize 1.6 pounds of meth and recover stolen vehicle

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — A 47-year-old man is in custody after deputies seized 1.6 pounds of methamphetamine and recovered a stolen vehicle during a traffic stop in Huntsville.

Charles Nicholas Young was arrested Monday at the intersection of Poplar Avenue and Calvary Street, according to the Madison County Sheriff’s Office. He faces charges of drug trafficking, receiving stolen property, and certain persons forbidden from possession of a handgun.

Young was booked into the Madison County Jail, where he remains held pending further legal proceedings. Authorities say the investigation is ongoing.
