CRAWFORD COUNTY, Wis. – A months-long burglary investigation in Crawford County led to the arrest of Charles Kirch, 44, and Angela Ziegler, 42, after authorities discovered $30,000 worth of stolen property at their residence.
Search Warrant & Discovery
On Saturday, March 2, 2025, law enforcement executed a search warrant at 53604 CTH S in Seneca Township, where Kirch and Ziegler reside. Officials found multiple stolen items, including:
Firearms (including a stolen rifle and a sawed-off shotgun)
Tools & electronics
Furniture & a wood-burning stove
Methamphetamine & drug paraphernalia
Charges & Arrests
Both suspects were booked into the Crawford County Jail and face the following charges:
🔹 Charles Kirch – Burglary, Theft, Felon in Possession of a Firearm, Possession of a Sawed-Off Shotgun, Bail-Jumping
🔹 Angela Ziegler – Burglary, Theft, Possession of a Sawed-Off Shotgun, Possession of Methamphetamine, Drug Paraphernalia, Bail-Jumping
The Vernon County and Richland County Sheriff’s Offices assisted in the investigation. No further details have been released.
