SAN MATEO, Calif. — A 19-year-old man and three minors were arrested in connection with an organized retail theft at a Lululemon store, police reported. The theft involved approximately $6,000 in clothing.

The suspects fled the store on Wednesday afternoon but were later found in Oakland with the stolen merchandise. Charles Gaines II, 19, of Oakland, was arrested on suspicion of second-degree burglary, organized retail theft, conspiracy to commit a crime, and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. He was booked into San Mateo County Jail.

The three juveniles—a boy and two girls, aged 14 to 17, all from Oakland—were released to their parents or guardians. Two of the teens are also linked to a previous Lululemon theft in which $13,000 in merchandise was stolen, according to San Mateo police.

The theft was reported around 2:36 p.m. at the Lululemon located in 17 Hillsdale Mall.
