Charles Blondin Charged in Cambridge Tank Theft

Chad Limoge also cited in propane tank case

by Sophia Bennett

Two Westford men are facing charges after propane tanks were stolen earlier this month from the Cambridge Village Market in Cambridge, Vermont.

According to the Vermont State Police, Charles Blondin, 59, and Chad Limoge, 38, were arrested Thursday in connection with the theft. Both men were cited and released with conditions and are scheduled to appear in court next month on charges of grand larceny.

The market first reported the theft on February 15, stating that all propane tanks stored in two outdoor cages had been taken the night before.

In a social media update, the store later confirmed that law enforcement recovered all of the stolen tanks — though the propane inside them was gone.

“This evening the police were able to obtain all of the stolen propane tanks (empty, but we absolutely call that a win!),” the Market wrote.

Authorities have not released additional details about the investigation.
