MARLBORO COUNTY, S.C. (WPDE) — A man has been arrested in connection with a stabbing that occurred at Amnesia Night Club in the McColl area of Marlboro County on Sunday, August 31, 2025.
Chandler Lowry has been charged with assault and battery of a high and aggravated nature, according to the Marlboro County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO).
Deputies were called to the nightclub after reports of a stabbing. Upon arrival, they found a male victim suffering from stab wounds to the chest and stomach. The victim was quickly transported to Scotland County ER for treatment.
Following the investigation, Lowry was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Marlboro County Detention Center, where he is awaiting a bond hearing, authorities said.
According to Chief Deputy Larry Turner, Lowry is currently out on bond for a separate murder charge and is also being held for Horry County on an outstanding bench warrant.
The investigation remains ongoing, and additional charges may be pending.
